I often talk to people who want to read the Bible and draw near to God, but there is something in their way – something stopping them. Some of the most common challenges I hear are: “It’s just so boring.” “I don’t know where to start.” “I don’t have time.”
There is no question in my mind that dedicating yourself to studying the Bible is essential to getting to know Him and living in obedience to His law. Therefore, I’ve added some great resources here to get you started on your journey through the Holy Scriptures. I’m always happy to add new resources as well, so let me know if you have found something that has been helpful to you.
Daily Online Bible – This is a fantastic place to get started as this website has various studies in both audio an written version. This link takes you directly to the comprehensive reading plan to get througout the Bible in a year. You can read the selections or listen to them via Bible Gateway audio. Have fun poking around this website.
