You Are Enough | 2 Corinthians 3:4-5

Self esteem, self confidence, self worth. These are all popular words in our culture. We long to build confidence and a healthy sense of self in our children and even adults. We talk about it more than ever, and that might be because, as a culture, we struggle with it more than ever.

Let me tell you right now that you are enough. You are more than enough. What’s best is you can let down your guard and stop trying so hard. Your striving and pushing will not make you be worth more. No. You are already precious enough for the King of the universe to come down from heaven and endure a life of shame. He suffered death for YOU. That’s right for YOU. He has turned you into a royal heir! You are royalty!

What did you do to deserve this? Absolutely nothing. God loves you so much just the way you are. You are His creation. Nothing will ever change that – no mistakes, no imperfections, no shortcomings.

The only way you can truly measure your worth is to stop looking at yourself and look to the one who laid down His life for you. He loves you. The more you seek Him, the more you understand the great sacrifice He made for you, the more you will see your true worth – and let me tell you, it’s more than you could possibly dream.
