Mystery Box Items (choose 5 – one for each day): duck, dominoes, dump truck, dog, deck of cards, doll, dinosaur, DVD (in the case), diaper, date
Daily Story/Activity: (This is what we do to start our “learning time” each day)
Tell the story (with pictures) of the Daniel in the Lion’s Den. Sing “Angels Watchin’ Over Me”
Monday – LeapFrog Fridge Phonics (each week I will put a different letter in the fridge phonics toy. I don’t usually like electronic toys, but Samuel loves putting the letter in this one and pressing the button. I’m only giving him one letter at a time right now.) Draw picture or do “damp” paintings. (Paint with just water on colored paper. This is a great way to practice Dipping paintbrushes in water.)
Tuesday – Dunk and Dump with cups in the water.
Wednesday – Feed the Ducks
Thursday – Dance to music and play the drums.
Friday – Dig in the dirt.
