Cardboard Cave

During Samuel’s introduction to the letter C, we were going to crawl through some cardboard mazes, but Samuel didn’t seem to excited about doing a lot of crawling and I wasn’t super thrilled about making a big mess. The solution, however, was pretty simple.  Samuel has a cardboard house that I made out of his car seat box (I was inspired by this post from Having Fun at Home). Samuel hasn’t been too excited about going inside, but he has had fun opening and closing the door. In light of our study of C, I opened up one end of the box and turned his cardboard house into a cave.  Now, he loves it!
