Letter of the week: C
Memory verse for the week: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me”. Psalm 51:10
Periodically throughout the day, we will listen to this song.
New Toy: Shape Stacker
Mystery Box Items (choose 5 – one for each day): cat, carrot, candle (not lighted), car, cucumber, comb, circle, cup, crown, cross
Daily Story/Activity: (This is what we do to start our “learning time” each day)
Tell the story (with pictures) of the ten commandments. Sing “Trust And Obey”
Monday – LeapFrog Fridge Phonics (each week I will put a different letter in the fridge phonics toy. I don’t usually like electronic toys, but Samuel loves putting the letter in this one and pressing the button. I’m only giving him one letter at a time right now.) Play with Cans – build towers with cat food cans or bowl and knock over cans.
Tuesday – Crawl through cardboard box maze.
Wednesday – Color with different mediums (put a large piece of paper or cardboard on the floor and let Samuel use chalk, crayons, markers [washable, non-toxic], and maybe even finger paints).
Thursday – Play with cars – send them down ramps, drive them on roads, make towns, etc.
Friday – Compose music on the keyboard
